Address:
Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Meyer
Viale Pieraccini, 24 - Firenze.
The nearest train stations to the hospital are Santa Maria Novella and Rifredi. Public transport provides a good alternative to driving as the hospital has good public transport connections, both by bus and local taxi services. Florence’s Amerigo Vespucci airport in Peretola to the northwest of the city is about 6km away and there are regular flights in and out of all major Italian and European cities.
Major works on local infrastructure are currently being carried out and this may cause some issues for those trying to get to the hospital. We therefore advise anyone trying to reach Meyer for an appointment to allow for 30 minutes extra on top of their normal journey time.
